Minimum Salary:  $33,939 /Days:  217

 

Primary Purpose:

Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus. Oversee the maintenance and processing of all student academic and attendance records at the campus level. Coordinate campus grading process. Responsible for campus attendance coding.

 

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records

Ability to use personal computer and software for word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and records management

Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills

Basic math skills

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Understanding of and commitment to customer care principles

 

Experience:

Three years of clerical experience, preferably in a public school environment

 

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Records, Reports, and Correspondence

1.     Process new student enrollments through Student Information System and verify enrollment documents meet requirements.
2.     Request records for incoming students.
3.     Maintain student academic records in a digital records storage database to include scanning, organizing, and labeling records.
4.     Process campus withdrawals.
5.     Coordinate grade reporting process, including verification and correction of grades, and preparation and distribution of report cards.
6.     All duties relating to entering and maintaining accurate campus attendance coding and preparing regular attendance reports.
7.     Assist campus administration and staff with preparation of reports and student data information.
8.     Process yearly Returning Student Registrations for campus to include proof of residency verification.
9.     Update and maintain accurate student data in the district Student Information System.
10.   Assist with student scheduling.
11.   Respond to parent, staff, and student inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
12.   Attend all district position-related training.

 

Other

13.   Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.

14.   Maintain confidentiality of information.

15.   Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

16.   Conduct responsibilities according to customer care principles of the district.

17.   Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
