Primary Purpose:
Provide on-site campus technical support to maintain computer equipment and software applications at the campus level.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work closely with students and teachers
Ability to troubleshoot and correct basic technology-related problems
Knowledge of and commitment to customer care principles
Experience:
One year work experience troubleshooting computers and peripherals
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide onsite campus technology support to all stakeholders.
2. Assist in updating and maintaining an inventory of software and hardware available on campus.
3. Assist in the proper utilization of media and presentation systems.
4. Assist in upgrading computers and peripherals throughout the campus.
5. Provide preventive maintenance and cleaning of campus machines/equipment.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety
7. Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
8. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying.
9. Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.
